I have been using an Carter AFB off an old 273 for lots of years on my hopped up slant six, works Great! Got my Torqstorm supercharger kit in and was wondering if anybody has had any success in using the AFB and what problems you have had. Will it even work with the blow through?
James

Studebaker used AFBs in their supercharged engines. Do a search on the R2 engines. There are sealing issues, primarily the throttle shafts and the accelerator pump.

Does anyone know of a carb shop that I could send my AFB or Edelbrock to do the mods needed for a blow through system? I really don't want to go back to a Holley based carb. But I will if I have too. Thanks for the info so far. James
