There's a key part missing here, the riser/plenum assy., the small hole allows the engine to run as a naturally aspirated unit until the turbo spools up, There is a small butterfly swing valve that will block the small hole, and then all the intake receives is from the turbo port on the side, it is a very effective setup and almost eliminates lag. It is a draw-thru arrangement, & takes up some room. Turbo inducer side is plumbed into the side of the plenum, the impeller discharge goes in the side port on the manny.
That is way-cool to see a slanty one, wonder where the rest of the kit is???

I'm pretty sure all of those setups used the same adapter, for any engine. If so you can get one from a sb chevy system. I see them for sale every so often. You are right about being unusual for a slant. First one I have seen.

The plenum box may have been std., or maybe a couple of styles, but the intake adapters had to be per application. Ya gotta figure, these kits weren't "all out" oriented units, they were designed to really wake up all of the lazy-ass smog engines out there at the time. They were mounted to 1,2, & 4bbl stock intakes, this dedicated intake is pretty freakin' cool, but was an exception. I worked on an AAR that had one running through a 2bbl 360 intake, it had been done in the mid-ish '70's, made mods to it to improve the adj. wastegate and other things. We ended up with it sitting on a Holley Dom intake w/improved piping & H2O injection. Said inj. ceased to function one night at Quaker City and He cracked the ring lands on one of the blower pistons. Now it has a proper 6bbl setup on it.
