Then I would have to give up my Poser status I have worked so many years to maintain.

That part would be cool... Not speaking from experience of course. Just assuming... :D

Yep! mid 20's to high 12's in 42 years. Don't take as long as I did.

I went from mid 14s to 12.0s with the push of a button. It was quite a rush indeed.

Let’s see... Duster progression...

Started by pulling a beat up Duster out of the woods in GA when we started GodsRods... That car went from mid 20’s to high 15’s... That took about a year and a half.

Then I put that engine in Duster II and got it down to a 13.749. Do I have to count the 6+ years I was stationed overseas in the timeline...? If not, then the second iteration only took me a few months...

NOW who’s the Poser, Suckah!?

Nevermind,... it’s still me... always will be...

I think I may pull the cover off the Duster this weekend and put a couple parts back on it. I would like to race something this year...

I attempted to take both the Valiant and Dart for spins recently with varying levels of success (actually unsuccess... :( )

I put the fuel system back on the Duster today. I took the carb, fuel pump and filter off and boxed it all up when I moved to Germany 4 years ago. I should have done a better job of covering up the loose fuel lines I suppose...

A little time clearing out the wasp nests and all was good.

I left the pipe fitting that goes in the side of the engine block at the other garage, so I couldn’t fill the cooling system with water. Maybe tomorrow Ill fire it up. :D

Rob,

Man, you are on a mission (OK, more than one). You are putting your poster status in serious jeopardy. Fire it up, fire it up, waaaay up!

Lou
