Oil and gear lube are in. I left the trans fill tube at the other garage.

I forgot about the alternator bracket bolt hole that leaks oil...

I made an angle bracket to help secure that side of the motor plate using that hole. The radiator support rod also goes through there.

I re-worked the main fuel line and re-mounted the fuel pump and fuel cell. I also cleaned and painted a trans fluid tube. I’ll put it in with a new O ring once the paint dries.

I also put the aluminum cross bar back in along with the fenders!

Getting closer. :D :D

I've been sidetracked with a clutch job on Chase's SRT-4... I'll get back to the Challenger as soon as I can.

I carved out a couple hours today.

I fabricated new mounts for the 5 hood pins and reinstalled the front valence.

A little closer.

Hurray! I am hoping to get back to wrenchin in earnest in January. Taking a little break, except for gathering parts and getting machine work done...

I need to finish things up and get over to Howard’s place so we can get it fired up. He gives me friendly nudges from time to time. :D

I put a pair of borrowed Chevy tires/wheels on the rear of the Challenger tonight, getting ready for the trip to Howard’s....

The new pinion seal leaks.

Very frustrating. Two steps forward, one step back...

Howard gave me another friendly nudge yesterday... I should be ready to take the Challenger to his place pretty soon. I may have to plan it around the bad weather since I don't have an enclosed trailer.

I just need to do a couple small things and then get a battery and some alcohol (for the car...)
