Got 3 lbs out of passenger door and hinges today.Got 3 nitrous bottled filled and bottle heater in and wired.Got to sort weak rear brakes,and put aluminum panels on right side of car,think my test and tune will bee in two or three weeks.I predict a sub 7.00 first pass with a 60 shot.Guzzi Mark

Found my rear brake issue,I cut too much off the ring on my backing plates.Getting flex that is not holding rear brakes enough.In search of backing plates for a 10 inche drum 8.75 rear end,drums are 2 inch wide.ANY help finding these will bee apreciated.Mark

I wonder if the Weight Savings of the aluminium calipers / rotors would make up for the fact that the discs would drag somewhat and you can adjust the Drums for almost no drag??? :?: :?: :?:

Clamping power with disc is not as good cold as drums.

I think He has 30MPH to go...


The rules state 150+ for a Chute.. Also Mark would not like the extra weight that a chute, brakets, cables add to the car... :D

No chute,I dont want to go close to that fast in that car,,,my butt hole goes tight at about 110 mph.I am actually a little scared going for the A nitrious mph record at 125 mph.Butt I gotta try.Mark

Would go discs if I went trans brake,but then I would have to change to Cal tracks or different springs,and and and.Going to leave it alone till I feel threatened.Mark
