I got some interesting mail today.
A Slanter by the name of Terry Littlejohn from Conception Bay, Canada sent me some photos of his Slant Six powered Dusters.
Seems like Terry has been working on Slants for 20 years or so.
His first car was a red 75 Duster with a mild build-up, went mid 16's.
Next came a lighter 76 Duster with a stronger engine, that got him into the 14's and also got him a couple of broken oil pump gears & trashed motors.
Now Terry wants "More Power" so take a look at his latest idea. (last photo)
Now I need to get a few hardened OP gears ready to send him. 8)

Very cool. Always good to see serious Slanters come out of the woodwork.

Sorry to say that I posted all the pics Terry sent me.
I have a letter going back to him asking for more info so we will see what happens. The blower looks like one of the small B&M "street" units custom fitted to the slant.

It's not A B&M. The blower came from a 3cyl. GM detroit and he made his end ptates to fit, then made up a belt drive.

Russ, if he needs any pictures, I have a 471 blower on my 34 bucket that I have been running for about two years. Of course I did not have a hood to contend with.

Terry, sorry about not seeing this post earlier. As soon as I get home today, I will post some pictures on this thread. There are some on the site, I just do not remember where they are.

Terry, if you will, send me your e-mail address and I will mail these pictures to you. They are on the large size and I do not want to take up a lot of space with these.
