Does anyone make an aluminum valve cover for a peanut head? If so I want one. The girl's birthday is coming up. Hopefully it's not like buying her a bowling ball with my name on it.

First generation peanut head takes the standard valve cover. The second gen (hydraulic head) takes a different one, and I don't think anyone made an aluminum cover other than the ones the Cox Brothers had made.

That's really good to know. My last peanut head motor was a later style for sure but I'm not 100% sure that my current one is. Hopefully it's a first gen so I can actually find a nice finned cover.

Good news. My peanut head is first generation so options abound for an aftermarket valve cover.

Back to my original question, anyone have one that they would part with?

I have a new Clifford Performance cover that I ended up not using. It is painted red now, but I would be happy to put it through my media blaster to make it bare cast for you.
