Yes exactly!. I complained from the beginning that they had to be "tweaked" !! :D :D

I was told to sit down, shut up, and start grinding!!! :D :D Not really but sort of.

At this point I think we would all be happy if they just did another run of them.

Yep, I would be happy, even if not tweaked. We can tweak away!

Tweakily,
Lou

Hello all,

I submitted a request for a discontinued part at Wiseco's Website.

Here is the transcript;
Hello,

I was interested in checking to see if it would be possible to have a run of discontinued piston 5112A104 manufactured? I have some friends that may that are interested in these parts as well. Is seems most shelf stock has dried up since the initial run from ~2007-2009 and we cannon find a source for these pistons.

Some folks that I hav spoken with might be interested in the entire kit as well, Wiseco # PT112H104.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Greg Ondayko

We'll see what happens.

Well, if you need numbers, I will be interested in a set.

Ceej, THese Part #'s were made to interface with the 7.001" (198 Style) Rod.

I am sure you could hang them on a 225 Rod at a lower compression Ratio which might be cool for boost

Well good. Any clue what the price for a set is going to be? If we're getting a good price for a group buy, I'm definitely in for a set.

It'll give me something to do with that spare set of rods I've got squirreled away...

Gotta order a set of R&R rods pretty soon too.

No Not yet, No Idea of price.

My guess is we need more orders to buy in to make the tooling and setup make $en$e...

We'll see.

When I worked with Brian Nutter on these way back in the beginning we had to have a minmum "idea" of interest, but I can't remember what that number was.

Cool, I didn't know you were on the original project.

Did you know how many sets or pistons were run? (+0.104" Bore)

Reading back through the old posts from 2009 when I had the first "custom" set made, it looks like it was less than 10 to get things rolling to put them on the shelf... Those were bleak times with the economy and they were glad to have some business. They now have (or had) the tooling, so who knows nowadays... :|

I s'pose if you need names/numbers for them, you can put me down for another set. They can go on the shelf with all the other cool parts I seem to collect and not use.
