Need a late style distributor hold down. The "claw" type. Any body got an extra?

I'll look when I get home Charlie. I think I may have one.

OK, Thanks. I have a couple of those type distributors, and just bought a NOS dist on e bay. I don't have any hold downs. If I get one, I can probably make another.

Hey Charlie,

I texted you a pic last week... Or thought I did. I just checked and it was still "sending"... Is this the one?

I think so. That is the style, if that is for a slant six.
Charlie

I’m not certain it is for a Slant 6. It looks similar to the small block hold down.
It was with a bunch of parts. It might be a small block hold down.

It looks that way... Slant hold downs are like the big block version in top length (but no long tail and the jaws aren't as wide).

I use that style hold down on my current engine and the pad on the block (1970 I think) was cast and machined differently than the newer blocks. The hold down had to be "modified" a little before it would work.

It looks like this but without the two extra holes. This is the one on my 79 block. I don't have any extras, just the one I am using.

I'm aware of that.
Still looking for one.
