Hello All,
I am in the process of bringing my 1981 dodge d-150 back to life . It has a 225 with a NP 2500 5 speed transmission.

It seems I am missing the bell house starter seal .

Does anyone have one they would part with ?

Where could I find one ?

Could you make a cardboard template of one you would not sell ?

Thanks for the help, this fine old truck deserves to ride again!

They are mostly the same from say '62 possibly earlier to '93 in most passenger cars and light trucks, regardless of engine family R/G, A/ LA , or B/RB.
I am sure you can find one at a local car recycler too.

Thank You . It seems I am also missing the clutch housing or bell housing dust seal .
I believe it is a triangular piece of sheet steel on the bottom of the engine.
It was almost 40 years ago when I pulled and rebuilt the engine so the memory is a little hazy .
I paid someone to pull the engine to repair a bad syncro ring and their work left something to be desired...
This is a standard transmission so I hope it is not a super rare part .

Here are the two types of starter shields I have.
One with the pen pointing to it has more steel on the right side and a dimple to clear some item.
One on the left is a standard passenger car.
