Heavy rain, inexperienced driver and a light rear end all converged the other day... Mike is okay, but it looks like the Dakota is nuthin' but parts now.

Anybody need anything before I haul it off for scrap let me know. It's got about 164K miles and is a V8 Magnum with automatic. "Ran when parked."

Use it as a donor for one of the body shells you have?

Mike said he started it yesterday, so that is good.

It has the smaller V8 Magnum, not the 5.9. When I get a chance I will get over there to look closer.

Other then this mishap, how is everything going. Been busy here but have actually worked on the '62 a couple hrs. Have the Wilwoods assembled and some of the front end together. wanting to get it outside and sandblast the firewall and paint the engine bay. Shooting for clay city '19.

All else is good. Long week. Looking forward to the Mason Dixon race next weekend. Just need to button a couple things up on the nitrous in the Duster.

I did go over and move it yesterday, but didn't check the transmission type. How do I determine if it is the overdrive type you're looking for?

Car Model*:
The front half (BH and pan) will look like either a 904 or 727. The 904 version will be the 42RE (also sometimes called A500) and the 727 is the 46RE (or A518). The back half will be much larger around and longer than the 904 or 727 tailshaft - about 9" longer, IIRC. Both trannys should use the 727 style slip yoke. I assume this is a 2WD trans.

Maybe post or email me as many pics as you can - and then I can get it sorted out.

Also Lou seems to be an expert here too!

:)

Do the sun visors have the lighted mirrors? And are they in good shape?
