I've had several people ask me questions this week so I'll try to answer them:
1.My kit will not convert "lean burn" distributors to conventional types with mechanical advance. If your car has lean burn, you need a different distributor, carburetor, and the ignition system needs a major conversion.

2. My chart includes advance rates for one spring in case you want to keep the OEM long looped spring. In this case, the advance rate will follow the profile of the lighter spring, until the slack in long looped spring is used up.

Shipping in the continental US. is $4.75. Shipping outside the US will cost $9.50 (Ouch!) to most Countries by USPS. Additional shipping for multiple kits will be 50 cents in the 48 state US.

Hi BigSlant6Fan,

I had sent a payment for the Slant 6 distributor spring kit, (Jan 4th 2018) but since I forgot to add my address (my bad) you refunded me the payment on Jan 11th 2018.

I re-sent another payment with extra tip added that same day (of $35 total) with my home address this time, and added the info in the PayPal note area (like I was supposed to do the first time).

I am in no huge rush, I just wanted to make sure I didn't get overlooked or forgotten about. :)

Also thank you for all your help & knowledge you have shared on the forums.

- Tony

In the original ad it says these fit "most mopar distributors..." --- should fit our slant AND my 318 Cuda?

How hard is it to change out springs etc?

If they are uniform springs and not the large loop style on the EI distributors they will fit the standard G,A, and B engine distributors....

The complication occurs when you use a long loop spring from a V-8 distributor that had an L17 governor slot, and the new governor is L9 to 15... (so no spring tension on the heavy spring on the advance which will act like no spring at all)...

If I remember right these are non long looped springs and will work for your applications.

Article to tear down distributor to refurbish or change springs is HERE
