Mopar - Fuel Vapor Canister - 04342885 I purchased this one off Ebay (new). One of the outer ports was factory plugged whereas the one on my 1983 D150 Slant 6 is open and connected. After removing, if you blow low pressure air in any of the ports air seem to flow. Now the new one doesn't allow air to freely pass through it, even after removing the plugged port. Any thoughts?

The know-how to make this system work right is here (part numbers in it for the canister and purge valve are obsolete; currently-available items are canister and purge valve).
