I have seen body plugs for sale all over the planet, but I have never seen the big oblong ones that go between the engine compartment and the cowl on my '65 Valiant. This can be a REAL bummer in summer when you want to open the vents and bring in some fresh air - but get freshly heated air instead.

Has anybody EVER seen these available?

Yep, those and a bunch of other "impossible" small parts for your '65 come from Gary Goers, 37 Amdahl Ln., Kalispell, MT, 59901. Send him $6 (don't argue, it is TOTALLY worth it) and request a catalogue. Have some patience with him, he is only one man making and providing parts nobody else does. And his stuff is top-quality, too.

don't buy those taiwanese or made in china plugs you sometimes find at the auto store. Ive had vacuum caps which split within a few days plastic door clips which literally shattered by hammering them in and body plugs which ripped trying to put them in,. Same goes for those stainless hose clamps too. just crappy!
