I was speaking with the guys at FiTech last week and was informed a 2bbl setup is in the works - possibly Fall 2016 release (date not guaranteed). Thought I'd pass along for all of you planning a carb upgrade.

I had a chance to meet them last week and swing by their shop. Great bunch of enthusiasts and genuine car guys. One awesome thing I learned while there; they test every unit before it leaves by strapping it to a test engine and running it. I had also inquired about lower output engines like ours and they were confident that their entry level model could support engine making as little as 100 HP. Seriously considering trying on on the wife's car.

@Dan-o, this contracdicts what I was told, here's what they told me in an email regarding the applicability of any of their products on a 225 "probably not the best choice, our system requires a minimum of 250 hp and are throttlebody's are 835 CFM. But not to abandon all hope, hopefully by this fall we will be coming out with a two barrel system which would be better suited for your engine." Not contesting what you heard, just enriching the conversation.

Dunno. My info came from the owner of the company Ken and their lead R&D guy, Cody. <shrug>
Guess we'll just have to buy one and find out.

I also talked with Ken about using the entry level 4 barrel style unit on my modified slant. He said he saw no problem with using it so I bought both the unit as well as their Fuel Command Center. Still got a long way to go before installing it.

It seems I'm out gunned guys. Perhaps usability depends on how modified your engine is? I've got a stock engine (with intentions on upgrading to a 2bbl intake). Guess we'll just have to wait and see what works with different engine configurations.
Thanks for your replies, it's this type of discussion that helps us all learn.
Hat tip to the forum for allowing us a place to talk shop.

Nothing @Killer6, just a statement that it is possible to be announced this fall. I have not seen a public announcement, just an inside scoop.
