Just got added to the forum, Ive got a 73 B100 no window shorty van and need to know more on the engine. I've had it for 5 years now but it has developed a tick so I'm assuming rockers need adjustment. Just got a new valve cover gasket so the time is coming. Ill add a few photos once I figure out how this works here.[/img]

Welcome to the board! Sounds like a nice ride! If you use the search function you should be able to find the procedure for settting the lash hot or cold.

Here is a reliable valve adjustment procedure. Tune-up parts and technique suggestions in this thread. Carburetor operation and repair manuals and links to training movies and carb repair/modification threads are posted here for free download. And you'll want to get the three books described in this thread.

A tick could also be an exhaust leak..............
