I just bought one.......................
Thanks again Dennis.
If you buy one of Cliffords current Hyper-Pak intakes, plan on being disappointed. I was and sent it back. Find an older one. This one I have now is from the batch that sold for $395 vs current $295. The better casting and improved maching is well worth any extra $ you may have to pay for one.

I bought one almost 2 years ago and the machine work done to it was minimal. It cost me an extra $100 worth of machining to make it fit with the headers. All said and done the motor screams and I am happy.$375 all together, but the engine builder was pissed about the unforseen time he had to spend.the mounting flanges weren't machined at all.I actually never even got a reciept from clifford on this thing. They must figure the charge card bill is enough. Their service sucks by the way.

I bought one about a year ago and spent about four hours with a die grinder to get it to fit with DutraDuals.I still need to get the divider for the plenum welded in.This intake will be used on a 170 with a 390 holley and installed in a 60Valiant V200.It took 3 months to get after paying for it with a money order and also did not get a bill of sell.I really wish Clifford would get their stuff together as we dont have alot of options for high performance parts for our old slants.

Damn shame. When Dutra was having these made, quality was super nice. I never bought or used one, but I did have occasion to examine them up close and personal-like.

Clifford has been the master of oversell for years (Aw, sure, mac, just slap a big 4bbl and a set of headers and this here big cam in that Slant-6 of yours, and you'll have a TERRIFIC daily driver...pffft!) but now it looks like they've joined the ranks of the schlock artists.

Pity.
