Like 25 to 50 hp if needed to get into the 12's 1/4 mile lol
Thank you

What are your compression ratio, cam, and ignition control system? Do you have an AFR gauge and will you measure that at WOT?

As of now this is a pile of parts
Arp head studs ,drool tube head with 1.77 1.40 valves
New old stock Wisco forged Pistons .030 over
Plan to just skim deck to clean minimal removed
Same on head skim clean
Hope for compression to be 8.5
Cam is clay smith .504
Weiand 142 super charger 6-8 lb boost want to stay @ 93 octane pump gas

So a head gasket on the thicker side will be a good thing just didn't want to o-ring and custom copper is big$$$

Ignition will be hei converted electronic distributor

6psi shouldn't be a big deal on a stock Felpro.

I would say use a stock Felpro or Corteco, or maybe order the Endurotec from Australia if you want extra insurance.

Endurotec thickness ??

Would the large bore gasket be OK with only .030 overbore

As my pistons will still be down in the cylinder when I bore the engine could I put a extra large chamfer on top ridge to eliminate a small quench area ??

This would help to lower compression even more
And I could blend chamber in the head to the large bore size unshrouding vavles and adding a few cc's Also helping to lower compression

Thickness about 0.045" compressed. I would not touch the bore or chamfer, but I suppose that is fine if you like.
