I'll be your huckleberry Lou! I've got the duster pretty much figured out again so I'm hoping to hit the track soon once I get some front tires and an alignment. Then I just have to make it to a race and try for a record would be my goal for this year in between wedding plans lol.

Finally found one tank of nitrous. Had to drive almost 100 miles to get it, and the price was painfull, $255 as compared to $125, for my last tank. Guess, I have enough for this season, but I think I'm done with nitrous, after this year. Need to get my turbo running, again. Any one have a bucket of time, and money?

If you're going to hang it up, I'd be interested in getting that Top Gun plate back. :D

Heard from my buddy at Chicago Connection they managed to score a bunch of mother bottles. They are at $10 lb. and are the cheapest in the area.

That's strange. My supplier called me on Thur, to let me know they got in some bottles, after not having any for many months. $145 ea. That's less then $2.50 a pound. I did get some from a supplier in Jacksonville (about 80 miles away), a couple of weeks ago. They did hit me a premium price of $225 per bottle. I should be good for the rest of the season, have about 120 pounds on hand, as I don't race on a regular basis. Then I'll make a decision about what to do next year.

PS: I use mother bottles, and they hold 64 lbs ea. Fill my own 10 pounders.

Why not use medical oxygen? If a little O2 from nitrous is good, 100% O2 has to be better, right?

Got me curious, best answer I found was here:

http://www.nitrous.info/oxygen-instead- ... -oxide.htm

Of course, a few of those problems could be solved with liquid O2, interesting discussion on that here:

http://www.bangshift.com/forum/forum/ba ... rous-oxide

Which appears to include some level of success with gaseous O2...
