I was poking around on another site and came across a 1980 Volare for sale in which the seller stated:

"This is the 225 with factory mods to oil capacity and dip stick length."

Anyone ever heard of this? If so, what were the changes?

Seller doesn't know what he's babbling about.

The only thing I could think of would be the truck/van oil pan, but that wouldn't clear the steering linkage (and probably not the k frame either) in a Volare.

Just like those imbeciles that post about "the rare" slant six in their ads.

In my AO, the slant six has become rare. Most yanked them long ago in favor of V8 power. Finding a slant for sale around here is rare. Not necessarily a "high demand" item, but rare to find, especially for a good price. I remember in the 80's when a slant from a V8 swap was free for the hauling away.
