Hello Sages,

I took a vehicle out of storage and as I was running it discoverd a PS Leak.

I wanted to replace the Hoses - The Pressure Side Hose is listed and easy to find, but the Return hose is oddly not.

so I just need to confirm the tubing size of the return hose.

I think it's 3/8" but I just wanted to be sure before I order anything.

This would be on a 78 Dodge B Van.

Thanks,

Greg

If I remember correctly That return hose is just a piece of 3/8 hose, that is held on the fitting with clamps. Just make sure you use Auto trans hose, not all hose is compatable with the fluid. Spec. S.A.E. J189 Return Hose

x2... if you had the FSM for the vehicle, they sometimes list the length of the return hose in the steering section.

Thanks Guys,

I was aware that the Hose was not any regular "heater" hose or "fuel" Hose.

I wanted to verify the Inside Diameter.

Thank you for the help!

I hope my leak is just due to expired return hose or clamps - since its on the van I need to remove the washer bottle to really inspect and check out whats going on there.

Cheers!

Greg
