A grill and a case of fresh brats.

Bunch of stuff to sell.

Hopefully I remember my helmet and long pants.

Generator and battery charger. Yes, I'm going to be "that guy" with the noisy ass generator.

General assortment of tools and parts.

Someone to turn the main switch on when I belt myself in the car with it off.

As little as possible. Towing with my slant six D-100. Bringing parts for sale/delivery. Hopefully, if I do need something, the rest of you will be able to help me.

I usually make a mad thrash through the garage the day before or the morning of leaving and just grab whatever looks helpful. Some day I might get organized and actually prepare ahead of time for this stuff... or not...

(This time I do have a couple things I know I must bring: At least one trophy and a wad of cash! )

Pretty comprehensive, Rick.

I usually bring some parts, along with toolbox, timing light, comp tester... I have a "race box" Rubbermaid tote that has a rotating group of parts and specialty tools. It always changes and sometime I have what I need, sometimes not. LeMons races usually deplete several things and I sometimes do not remember to replenish them.

Partial list of usual parts:
Belt(s) and generic hoses (vac, fuel, htr, flex radiator hose)
Extra dist (electronic, locked or recurved) and another extra dist gear
Misc bolts/nuts/washers
Breaker bar and hand crank "spinner" for wheel r'n'r
Spare pair of wheels/tires (often)
Extra WBO2 sensor (sometimes)
Oil, trans fluid, coolant/water, sometimes brake fluid, -20F WW fluid if racing turbo car (boost juice)
Stuff to wash car

I could go on...

This time I will have the B350 van, so I'll have a double mattress/futon and cushy sleeping stuff. Often I bring a tent+sleeping bag+pads.

Lou

And when I cinch the belts so tight I can't reach the door bar to close it.

If it is more than an hour drive (one way) I like to bring extra stuff.
In addition to Rick's list, I like to keep the following:
extra lug nuts/washers
thermostat/gasket
gas cap and radiator cap
hose clamps
Octane boost
wd40
small tarp
fan belt
top & bottom radiator hose
Duct tape
electrical tape
funnel
cap/rotor
one long plug wire
safety wire
oil pan drain plug
spare hood pin clips
gas tank/radiator repair putty
one or two spark plug tubes/gaskets

I don't bother with bigger stuff like water pump, oil pump, alternator, carb, etc. If anything like that would crap out, I'll make do or spectate.
