Got some of my carb parts Saturday, waiting on my high zoot needles to show up. Going to try and put it back together and fire it up this weekend. I may actually have a running car for the start of the season this year.

Since it was snowing today I decided to put all my new parts on the old 600 double pumper. Most of what I did really won't make it go any faster, but will make it easier to work on and tune. I also think I found the cause of a couple issues I was having.

Put on a new pair of float bowls with windows in them instead of sight plugs. Should make setting floats with the motor running a little less of a fire hazard.

Put jet extensions and matching float on the secondary side. I don't really think I leave hard enough to uncover the jets, but the kit was cheap and won't hurt anything.

Added a pair of BLP bottom feeder .120" needle and seat assemblies. I am going to try lowering fuel pressure to 4 psi and the needles should allow that. They let the fuel in below the fuel level and should prevent fuel aeration. Again, not sure I had an issue, but the needles were fairly cheap and won't hurt anything.

Found the primary accelerator pump linkage way out of adjustment. This probably explains the off idle flat spot I had.

Now, just have to wait for some better weather to get down and put it on.
