Should I stick with the A body cable which seems a bit long or would the K car cable (or is it the longer one) be long enough, even if I turn my 4 barrel sideways?

Car Model:
I used an Omni (L-body) cable and pedal when I turned an Eddy 500 sideways (primaries away from the engine).
It was long enough to avoid any sharp kinks and worked smoothly.
