That will be awesome! Go for it Mandi!!

I am trying to convince Angie to go for it next year as well... We will see...

I will update the points shortly. I think it's safe to say Ryan has his 2nd Championship tied up.

Great pics, Greg! What a fantastic weekend. Fast times, fun racing, wonderful friendship, and even a little hiking for some of us...

Lou

I am impressed, very nice cars. Congrats to all the racers and thanks for the pictures.
Is it me or is the quality of our cars getting better and better?
:D

Some nice Slant 6 cars represented there for sure!

Here are the points from this weekend's racing.

Rick Covalt put on a great race and finished #1 and #2 each day, trading wins with his son, Ryan. Rick winds up in the #7 spot for his efforts.

Even though Jack Everhardt Jr. won a round each day, he gave those round win points up to the "Over 5 Rule". That keeps his son, Jack Everhardt III in second place.

Ryan gave up Saturday's points, but his win on Sunday puts him at a very appropriate 225, keeping him in the lead.

Lou won a round each day, putting him into the "Over 5 Rule" by one race and climbing to the #5 slot.

Great pictures and Video Greg!

Thanks for posting them up. That was a great weekend. It was great weather and close racing and the championship came down to the last race too!

It was great seeing everyone there, and it was fun racing/talking and even hiking!

Not quite the last race... We still have the Tulsa/MoKan races in a couple weeks. We might see the Nitti Duster run some 10.50s.

So,... What's the hiking story..?

That’s true. It wasn’t really the last race, I guess it just felt like the last race :D

I’d love to seed Nitti’s car break some records and who knows what team green might have?

The hiking was basically just me, Greg and Lou last minute deciding we would find places to hike to on the Appalachian Trail. Greg found a trail and we hiked to a cool lookout Friday night, and then Saturday we hiked the A.T. And found a cool rock formation and climbed up and there was a nice view there too. Every hike they got to listen to me talk about my irrational fear of snakes  It was a good time of talking about cars and life, and a good way to burn off the 4 or 5 sausages from the day  It was just an all around nice time. There are some good hiking spots around most of our tracks so we may try to do it again at a future race.
