I purchased a used head that is clean but the seller didn't know anything on it. Is there any measurement I can take to see if it has been milled at all?

Thanks
Gene

There was a post one time by Charlie Schmid that measured from the valve cover rail to the face of the head to give you an idea? At least i think it was him! :D

It would be good to CC it anyway. Write it down and then you can have it for later mods. Also Piston height while head is off. You can CC on the cheap with a little piece of plastic, a 100 CC syringe and some rubbing alcohol.
