Sweet find SSD!

As per the wix catalog - the "R" version has increased flow capacity but particle filtration size has gone up - sounds like same filter dimensions but with material that has bigger "holes" in it.

51515 = 7-9 GPM flow, 19 Micron nominal rating
51515R = 28 GPM, 61 Micron nominal rating

I kinda figured that was what the "racing" filter was: greater flow capacity with poorer filtration, which makes sense for an all-out race engine that gets rebuilt practically every time it's time to make a new pot of coffee. That doesn't stop people thinking a "racing" filter will make their car go faster or their engine run better, but I'm not about to start that debate on Moparts! :shock:
