trying to replace drivers side rear axle bearing and have never done so. wondering what is involved..thanks

The hardest part of the job is getting the old bearing removed from the axle.
Some tips:
You can use a big chisle & hammer to "V" the bearing "lock ring" and that will release it from the shaft.
Use a "wizzer wheel" to "slit & split" the bearing races if you do not have a press and bearing "spreader". (as shown)

A section of pipe and heating the bearing & lock ring, will make new bearing installation easier.
