Hi everyone, I have a 1982 D150.
The problem I am having is that my hazards only work if I activate a turn signal.
Turn signals work fine.
If I turn on the hazard lights, nothing happens, but if I activate a turn signal, then they work. Deactivate the turn signal and they stop working.
Any ideas?

I just replaced the turn signal switch in my 86 D-150. The right turn cam was broken. I have the exact same problem.

After spending a few minutes checking things out I found the 20amp fuse removed from the fuse block. (I just got this truck 2weeks ago) I installed a new fuse and the hazard flasher started making weird noises. I put in a new hazard flasher and now everything works fine. Maybe there is some voltage feed back that allows the hazard lights to work when the turn lever is up or down. Not sure. Check your fuses and flashers.
