Naw.. the board is just cheesed off because we used a Chevy sock and it doesn't want to convert to being an AMC board from here on out.

No I think his Fsocks flew off after combining the dual duals with a Fsock Pak....

The last post said the SMTP wouldn't log into the secure server...

Either the board is goofed up from using some isomer version of STP... (oil treatment or the other stuff, it's all the same... LOL)... or this SMTP
is a new mutant animal vigilante group (Slanted Mutant Turtle Packers?!?!?!)

Shocked

Chuck's nowhere to be found, apparently. I sent a PM about this problem six days ago, and it's still in my Outbox. Anyone got a phone number for him to check if he's alright?

I also noticed I have another issue that has now popped up since the board has been acting weird... I no longer get notices by e-mail that I have a PM... and that option is still checked in my preferences...

I hope chuck is alright... maybe he took a weeks vacation?

Question

Chuck is aware of the problem.

We've been chasing other gremlins in email delivery as well. Port 25 and 110 are used for SMTP, so it is likely related. We're looking at different options.

Hang in there. We'll get it figured out!

I've been trying to get the new user notification working again by trying different things. Clearly the last try broke it worse, and PM notifications quit too. I hope this last change gets the PM notifications working again.

It is working better, but new member emails still not coming through.

We have faith Chuck!

Doesn't look like I can fix that. I tried everything I know. We probably need a software upgrade, but I estimate that to be a 60-80 hour project.

Is there a way we could crowd fund this? I remember we had talked about new software a long while back. Not sure the price now, but if we could get a fair amount of occasional users to cough up the price for a Whopper Meal, we might be able to help finance the change... (literally there are lots of people who visit the board, and they would not get this same level of help and support on other mopar boards)
