My torque converter dust cover got seriously dinged up - I seem to have been a bit too forceful getting that oil pan back on. And it hits the torque converter bolts now. I'm pondering hammering it back into shape vs getting a better replacement. Are there any resto places that have a stash of them? Or any board members have a decent one lying around? Just checking what my options are.

I ran without one for the longest time. Only thing in that area that's sensitive is what... the converter seal? I doubt anything would get to it unless your routinely driving through a foot or two of water. And if it did I'd be more worried about the crank.
