Bit of a late response, but do you have any pics of that setup? I decided against cutting the sheet metal, it's too nice. I was going to make plywood speaker boxes to go under the seat, I'll just need smaller speakers. Under the dash might get crowded because I have plans for under-dash AC at some point (Nostalgic Air makes a kit for old dodge trucks IIRC). The guys at sweptline.org had some good ideas as well but none that would really work for me.
