Well, I messed up big today. Snapped the M/C pushrod off, just inside the bore. The M/C is being replaced. I ordered an adjustable from Mancini, but I've seen old posts here and elsewhere, indicating that that one is too long on minimum length. Maybe it will be usable on the 80's truck?

I know this is a long shot. Application is for '82 D150 with aluminum M/C, manual brakes. Some of the 60's-70's car pushrods sound too short. Some of the 80's heavier trucks used iron or steel M/C's, I don't know if they used the same manual pushrod. Mine is broken off at an overall length of 6 3/4 in. Not sure of the length left inside the M/C. I'd guess about 1/2 inch to an inch.

NOS seems long gone. Just taking a shot. Thanks.

I just might have one from a 79ish D150. I have an aluminum master cylinder with the rod still in it. I originally saved it just for the rod, but never used it. I can check the shop today or tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply, Matt. That may just work, if it turns out that you have one and are willing to sell it.

I managed to get the broken off tip of the M/C pushrod out of the old M/C.

In case anyone's interested, it looks that the overall length of an intact Manual brake, aluminum M/C pushrod would be right about 7 1/4 inch.
This rod does not have the added length of a boss on far end of pedal attachment bore, like some older Mopars I have seen photos of.
