finally got my new fiberglass hood. i can tell its gonna be a pain taking it on and off all the time but I had to have one.

Is it the "race weight" or the "street weight" hood?
If it's the street weight, you may be able to bolt it to your hood hinges, remove the springs from said hinges, and install a prop rod up front.
(although I see it's a bit too late, as you've already got the holes drilled for the rear pins.)
BTW.....Your garage/shop is much too clean and organized......get busy and mess it up some, you're makin' me look real bad.

its the race weight hood so no hinges for me. those wheels took forever to find. SBP! the rear are slightly different. I have a full set of the front ones but the offset rubs if I put em in the rear. 235/60R14's. trust me it isn't that clean in there.

Yup, the front ones with more spokes look a bit better, but the rears look good too. If you raised the rear end they wouldn't rub....

yeah don't worry Roger, its crowded with all my $hit that J has so graciously offered to store for a bit. Course it does come with *some* advantages when you need something, you got twice as many parts to choose from =)

Hood looks good man, just get it running and you'll never need to open it... hahahhaha even I have a sense of humor some times

I actually prefer the rears. but I only have two of those. there will be no raising of the rear! low is were its at! I saw a car at they bay area slant show with two of those wheels and two sprint mags. if you see this and want to sell em let me know!!!! wrong thread for that

Was the fit good, or did it take some work?

I pegged my factory hood on a dumpster bracket, and haven't been able to get it quite right.

I'm very happy with the fit. I need to add some rubber stops along the cowl and the fenders to keep it from sagging but it's nothing major. I really lucked out when I drilled the pin holes. they lined up perfectly

Were did you get the hood from? Mine's a bit funky and might want to swap it out. That one looks pretty good.
