I vaguely remember a post that member was looking for a part. There was an optional t-stat housing for an early A with AC. I can't seem to find the post anywhere. Anyone remember the post? |

The one and only nonstandard thermostat housing for the Slant-6 is № 2121 908, which was used on '60 (only) cars with power steering. The alternator was moved up to make room for the power steering pump, and the special thermostat housing has a cast-in boss for the alternator's pivot bolt. Nothing to do with A/C, which wasn't available on the '60 six-cylinder cars. |
