I am after some ideas to improve my visibility from the external mirror on the passenger side of the car. I have a 61 Valiant.

My eyesight is a little down (getting old) and I have trouble in viewing traffic from the original Mopar mirror - about 3 inch diameter.

An idea I have is to attach a much larger piece of mirror glass to the original mirror, about the size of a modern car mirror glass. This would only be a temporary thing - on car club runs, etc.

I would probably attach the glass using rubber ties or something similar so it can be easily removed.

Your ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Get one of These Doodads..

I have one in my '64 Dart Mounted up High under the Passenger Side Sun Visor

Works well for Highway, Parking, Racing etc. No Drilling and removable / reposition-able.
