The wife and I will most likely be there. The tickets are bought, the room reserved. No Dart, just being an observer this year. How does one get a pit pass? So I can stop by and say Hello.

There aren't any gates or anything. If you paid your pass, you'll be able to wander around. I look forward to meeting you!

Are we going to be in the pits just up from the Tech area again? Rick arrived early to get us a spot up against the fence last year....

I've got a sixer for your cooler Mark! I just need to snag one before we take off. Do you like exotic hoppy beers? MiDi introduced me to something hoppy wonderful!

Heck, I don't even have fenders yet. But on the bright side, they are calling for snow tomorrow!

The snow only lasted a day. More slush.

I've been out working on the car all day. If I had to go right now, I could put the grill back in, leave the lights out, and just leave the bumper here.

Or will they let you run without a bumper in Vegas? Kinda backwoods, Reno style really..

I talked with Rick Valent and he is registered and ready for LV -MATS.
Rick plans to get there on Thursday and block-out some pit spaces, along the outer fence where we always pit.

You can be in the car show and also race... If you buy a tech card.
Once you get there, ask around to see if someone has an extra race entry (= tech card) they will not use.
Actually, the SL6 class race entry is one of the cheapest weekend packages to get.

Rec'd our Race package stuff yesterday... I am excited about going...Mostly about watchin my baby race.... AND all the new friends I have met this past year... Would like to get a group photo at some point... All together in the stands... pits... elsewhere. Will also be bring the video camera. Hoping to get everyone on film.... Last year I rode the Harley from Crescent City, Ca and only was there for a day and a half. Not this year. Might... Might have the new Harley in the back of the truck.... Not sure yet...

Hope to see everyone there! Should be fun...

Terry

What route are the Oregon guys taking? The wife and I are leaving early to spend a couple of days in Yachates and then head on down to Vegas. We are staying at the Fiesta Rancho, should arrive on the 19th.

I believe that we will be heading out the morning of the 18th down I-5 to Hwy 58, across to Hwy 97 and down into Reno via Hwy 139 and Hwy 395. I think we will spend that night in Reno and head down to Vegas the morning of the 19th to arrive late afternoon/early evening. 8)

I don't know about anybody else from Oregon that is planning on making the trip this year. I do know that CJ and I are excited about getting to go! :D
