Ah, he's a trouble maker. I was in ignorant non racing bliss, untill one evening about 2000, I got a phone call from Seymour, wondering if I was the NJ slant six stock eliminator racer from the '70's. I was, and still had all my slant "stuff" (I have no idea how he located me). I got the "bug" again, and now have two running slant cars, and two more in process. Thanks Seymour :P

That's a cool story Charrlie. He tried dragging me out to Odhe (or what ever the heck the name is for the track) this spring. Even though I couldn't go with him that weekend he still went out of his way to stop by the shop to meet me.

Geez, we are talking about him like he's gone  Oh well, it's good to hear this while your alive instead of during a eulogy

Wonderful! Glad the presentation went well. I look forward to seeing pics of the event and the final product of the diorama. I have yet to see the car! Thanks to Seymour for all he's done for our little niche of automotive nirvana.

Im happy to hear that Seymore finally got the model and I felt honered to be able to contribute in a small way.
I am not fortunate to know Seymore as well as swome of yall do but the few times that I have him met really made a lasting impression. He is a "honest to goodness" good guy and I am thankful for people like him that have kept the slant six fire lit for all these years, not only for the Slant Six Racers but also for the guys like me who just love the Slant for what it is.
HyperValiant

BTW,Thats a fire extingusher in the floor, not a nitrous botte.

Thanks agan, guys. I mentioned during the presentation that the bottle might be a fire extinguisher, but I don't think anyone heard me over the screams of "nitrous bottle??".
