I was looking at clay city track schedule and they have it on their schedule as the 11th and 12th as being fri and sat this year with sunday as a weather make up day. Not sure which is right but just saying so someone can check on it to be sure

I have been having issues trying to get the track manager at 41 to give me a date. Their schedule is very full. :oops:

However, the track owner has offered to sell me the track. :shock:

He's done a lot of upgrades to the place, it's a lot nicer than it used to be. BUT, they keep getting beat to death by rain. :cry:

Put 330' Drag boats in beside the return road. now it's a 4 season facility !! and can deal with rain too!

Bobby Rogers is apparently not helping with the Mopar Southern Classic event at Clay City this year...

I'll reach out to Aaron Sipple… More to follow...

Website does say 11-12 September (Fri-Sat) with Sunday as a rain date...

I asked Mark to inquire about a Slant race Friday as well. Might as well get as much bang for your buck as possible. :wink:

In addition to the regular Team Green cast of characters, I count about another 6 of us planning to attend.
