I've seen ring gears come apart before. At least that one went down instead of up.

yes but it could have gone down at speed into a tire or brake line...

I didn’t know where else to put this, but tonight during qualifying at Tulsa, I got the #43 Go-Dad-Go SDRA Dragster into the 10s.
