Rob, I think I have a good center section for 8.75 rear. Let me dig through stuff and locate it. It is probably an open 2.xx gear.

That would be good! The championship will be decided here so we don't want to mess things up.

Rob, my truck oil pump looks good so it looks like Andrew shank will be driving my truck down to race. You can add him to the list! :D :D

Do any of you know where the Slant 6 folks will try to pit?

I will probably come down Friday and run the Test & Tune. Should try and get the red light out of my system before Saturday! :D :D

Still very iffy for me, but if I make it, should be there for the Fri TnT. Did a TnT last night, had some issues. Made one run on motor, which was OK at 16.88. Had to wait forever for a second run, as they had a couple cars hit the wall. Turned on the nitrous , and it didn't work. Two issues. Forgot to connect the wires to the WOT switch. Fixed that, but found the nitrous solenoid wasn't working. Also charging system not working, and still have an oil leak at the timing cover/oil pan, so called it a night. I also need to install the aux, trans cooler on my truck. Lot of work, and not much time, if I am going to leave Thur morning. Will post updates.

Am I reading the flier right that the T&T is going to start at 4:00PM?? That is a very early start to a Friday night of racing. I'd need to be on site at 3:00 then. Pretty sure that won't happen. :(

Angie and I just got back from Nashville. We had to pay a visit to Alkydigger for a new fuel pump for the Challenger.

Got my charging system fixed. Rebuilt the nitrous fuel regulator (leaking). Repaired the nitrous solenoid. Got timing cover off, then started cooking supper. Will reinstall, tomorrow, and hopefully get the trans cooler on my truck.

I'm trying. A couple of weeks ago, I realized I started running in the slant six series in 2001 (20 years ago), and as far as I can remember I have raced in at least one meet every year except 2020 (family medical issues, and covid19 restrictions). Made the 1st race in 2001 at Rockingham, and trying to make the last race of 2021, before I retire.
