After going through three junkyard/ebay rebuild-it-myselfs, including getting rebushed at a machine shop, I broke down and spent $125 plus shipping for a rebuilt BBD from
CARB SPECIALISTS 1-888-871-CARB.

Runs great, one year warranty, and nice service.

It's made a big difference in my life, as my /6 is a daily driver.

WITH AN OFFENHAUSER 4BBl INTAKE I TRIED THE 4-SERIES & THE YF's,

AND THE BBD WAS THE ONLY UNIT THAT STOPPED THE OFF-IDLE STUMBLE.

BUY ALL THAT YOU CAN.


AN ASIDE: THE a904 OUTPUT SHAFT BEARING IS OBSOLETE (FAG 2A836) I.D. 1.1645" [/u] O.D. 2.44" W. .63'. SNAPRING

ALTERNATIVE WORKS WELL: (6206) NO SIDE SEALS I.D. 1.181" O.D. 2.44" W. .63" SNAPRING
