I don't know if it's usual to comment on bad experience with shops, if not just delete my post!

A few weeks ago i ordered 4 wheel cylinders and a master cylinder from Partstrain (a pity i didn't knew rockauto then), but they list a wrong master cylinder on their site (power steering instead of manual, and this was not in the description). The second thing are the wheel cylinders, all four of them have wear on the outer rubber seals, some just small holes and others have torns from about 10mm.

I understand something like this could happen so i've send them a polite mail about the wheel cylinders and the master cylinder. Normally i would just return the parts, but because i live in the Netherlands it is very expensive (and slow) to send it back. Therefore i've asked them only to send me the rubber outer seals in an envelope.

The only thing they do is send some computer generated bla-bla emails back to me without a solution.
I don't know what's normal in America, but i can understand that they won't send some new seals if i haven't returned my wheel cylinders first. What pisses me off is that they don't read my e-mail; just a honest sorry would be enough for me. :D

Considering it's early Monday morning here..

My first thought is that you've gotten an automated reply, and no one has seen the e-mail yet...............

Thanks for your reply, but i've send my first e-mail 16 days ago. They only replied with with a automated reply, and didn't respond to my reply to them.

Therefore i've send some other e-mails to them, but they keep sending these automated e-mails or don't read my question.

Willard, did you try their "live help", on their website?

You have a PM.

Willard,

I encourage these posts. All I ask is that we all just report what happened. I am getting tired of the run-around myself when I order parts for my '64 Barracuda and get the wrong stuff.
