I know Mike's scrapers were thin, the Johnson one is thicker. I seal mine to the block with black silicone and fill the ends in then. I use a gasket over that, then another thin coat of silicone before the pan goes on. I could probably eliminate the gasket, but you do still need the end seals obviously. |
