I will be updating this thread with the work on my car and how it is going, right now i am waiting on some cash to keep working but so far i have gotten this list done:

1)radio *spent the extra buck for classic standard*

2) A/C unit cleaned and hoses replaced *re charged the A/C*

3) fixed the wireing mess under the dash.

4) added speakers to the kick panels

5) added back speakers.

6) changed the spark plugs

7) changed all the hoses

currently working on:

1) getting 4 new tires

2) fix the dents

3) paint

4) vinyl

5) changing it into a super six

6) new seats

7) new dash cap

8) new carburator *still need to get a line on this any and all help will be appriciated*

9) getting a camera to get pictures

thanks, the back end is sitting up more now, added air shocks due to the bending leave springs, but she is a beauty even with her bad repair jobs from the previous owner

Yikes. Air shocks are a bad idea. The shock mounts are not designed to take the weight of the car. You will rip the upper mounts out of the body and/or punch a hole (or two) into the trunk. You would be better off in the short and long run putting normal shocks back on and replacing, rearching, or adding a leaf to the rear leaf springs.

hmmm, well when i got them i knew it was going to be short term, i will either replace them here in a few weeks or before spring *i cant even drive it yet... so basically i got over six months until heavy driving is going to ensue*

so i will definitely look into the cost of all that and decide when it is going to happen

well now i am on the hunt for a good 2 bbl carb, got the intake, also need to get the rest of the parts for it. to make it a super six *not a true super, for right now but i am going to make it into a semi-super six*


if anyone has any info on where i can find a good 2bbl or where i can get leaf springs, please tell me.

well just an update for all that care... T_T which isnt a lot... its okay, they are tears of joy


anyway, nothing major just got a good 2 BBL intake manifold... and found out the cost of painting. so nothing major, but if u are interested keep checking back, i will continue to update you all on my progress, wether you read it or not

well done with that surgery nightmare... well not really nightmare... just annoying


ANYWAY... money coming to me soon... at which point i will finish the 2 bbl conversion... i will be getting new seats... front *back not really important right now*... new carpet... and fuzzy dice.

UPDATE!

buying parts like a crazy man... okay not really... im buying parts yeah, but im asking about each one...


so far, in the mail to my house:
2 bbl carb

25 foot jumper cables (even if i never need them for my car... its always good to have a set sitting there waiting to be used)


looking at:
kickdown cable
air cleaner
misc parts

current progress:
1) aquired headliner material to fix headliner.

2) 2 bbl carb shipped.

3) front shocks sitting in my trunk.

4) looking for brakes

5) debating on wether to get a netbook... *i know it aint apart of my car... but meh*

6) ... SEATS... called legendary auto... thinking "oh they sell seats"... WRONG!... they sell MATERIAl... for seats... -.- 300 bucks for the dam material..
