That thing is butt ugly! I went and looked they are really 5 spoke and have a 5 pointed rounded off plastic snap in center with a Mustang in it.

A friend had them on his '68 Satty race car to roll around in the off season. Took his front runners and slicks in storage.

I'll have to get home and take a pic and email it. I couldn't find them for the short period I looked on line. I am vacationing in Florida right now.

Enjoy the vacation and good weather! It's damn cold up here lately and I've tried to work in the garage some but the cold sends me running inside! So, no progress on the Aston Martin project..:( The Demon's brakes have been squeeking alot lately so I bought some shoes for it. I just hope the drums are in good shape!

Nice looking wheel. 30mm offset on those 90's models seems to be common for that era rear wheel drive vehicles. Post pics! :)

Hey man, I think I saw you in Poquoson yesterday afternoon at the cafe. Can't be very many black and yellow Demons on the peninsula! I'm at Langley quite often.

Hey, '68signet. I moved to Poquoson a few months ago. I live in that house beside the cafe so feel free to drop by sometime. It'll be obvious when I'm home since the Demon's my way of going right now. ;) Ronnie

I'm stoked that Langely Speedway is right up the street. Went there years ago and had a blast. You ever race there? I hear Wednesday nights are run-what-you-brung nights..

Post subject:  Another road trip to Mississippi

I'm driving down to Mississippi again (2000 miles round trip) to see my daughter graduate High School. Leaving tomorrow. Got the car all tuned up and she's running great. See y'all on the road! Honk if you love Mopars. :) Ronnie

Very cool! 8)

Love your car! It's one that convinced my son Chase (15) that he wants a Demon.

We're flying out to California next month to pick up his '74 Duster that will get a front end "Demonized" makeover. :D

Post subject:  Like father, like son....

Hey, Rob. My son just turned 14 and we built the Demon together for awhile. It'll be his car when he's of driving age. My Christmas trip home was to show him what it looked like finished (well, they're never "finished") and he fell in love with it. I think he was a lil heartbroken when I got rear ended. Anyway, I think a slant A-body is a perfect first car!

Demon/Duster... I don't have a problem with either. Hell, a lot of people say "Look at that Duster" initially and then ask "What's a Demon?". Goobs

Live in Kentucky and going all the way to California for a car? I know of at least a dozen Dusters/Demons around here for sale.... My car is/wasn't "rust free" and probably never will be. Long live Bondo ;)

Post subject:  Done deal...

Had a chance to read through your threads. Awesome idea and opportunity! Once in a lifetime is probably right.... I get my son later this summer and we'll get to do GA to VA and back in my car....

I cracked up when I saw the poll.... Will it make it or not? Hmm.. I just hope it makes it and we're rooting for y'all.. If it weren't for me knowing that I rebuilt everything myself on my car, I'd be hesitant to drive it home.. But, when I tell people it's got a slant six, I still get "Can't kill those engines!" Roll on! Have a good trip. :)

Post subject:  Made it...

Another road trip with no issues. 2300 miles and averaged 25 mpg... I almost broke the starter. Car didn't like the hotter weather and was vapor locking/hot starting some when I'd pull into a gas station. Tried to start the car once & before the starter spun down, I hit the key again and it made a nasty clunk sound. Definitely chipped a starter gear but she's still cranking... :)
