 '70 Roadrunner 383 Automatic. Bought in 2000 for $3500. Still have it and currently my only Mopar. |

 '72 Dart. 318 and 360 car. Gave $500 for the car. Felt bad for guy selling it as he'd thrown a bunch of new parts at it and never got it running right - turns out 318 timing chain had slipped over plastic timing gear and wouldn't stay running. Summit cam, new timing chain, and some later model closed-chamber heads and I was in action. Peppy lil 318. My daily driver for 2 years. Slung a rod doing about 90 MPH down the freeway dropped a $250 smog era 360 in it. Lunati voodoo cam.. Sounded lumpier but down on compression and not as peppy. mpg went from high teens to low teens.. 360 lost all oil pressure one day. Had to drive it a mile with zero oil pressure to get it off highway. surely thought the engine was toast. I gave it to a guy building a 2dr Dart for his daughter. Cool that the guy came and picked it up in an old Slant 6 Sweptline. Found out 360 had sheared distributor/oil pump shaft so car was running but not turning the oil pump. Guy threw new distributor, new oil pump and some rings in it. Same engine still running 7 years later!  '71 Valiant. Slant Six $1000 Craigslist ad in upper Virginia. One family/owner car hadn't run in a couple years.. Fired right up and I drove it home that same day. Drove this car from Virginia to Maine. Daily driver for a year with no issues in the cold or snow. Traded the car for a puppy (wife's uncle breeds Labs). Dog is still around and smart as a whip. Unfortunately, car is still on blocks and rusting away. |

Long time no post. It’s good to see you here again and that you haven’t forgotten about us now that you are Slantless. I loved watching your Demon build and was heartbroken when it was lost. |
