Hello All...

New to the site, trying to search the forum for parts needed to do a drum to disc swap on the front of my 1971 Dart Swinger 225 S6 and a rear axel swap to handle a bit more HP when I do the motor.

I am sure this info is in 100 places here so sorry for anyone to have to write it again. Please give me the best ideals to do brake and axel mods to my S6 chassis. I want to keep the majority of the cars original parts on it but I am going to make the quickest S6 possible and need help.

Disc kits? Rear Ends? if I build the 904 strong will it handle a raped S6 motor?

Thanks,

Chris 8)

Hi Chris, yes those questions have been answered many many times. Use the search function to find the discussions on this forum.

A stout 904 will be fine. Swap to '73-'76 A body discs. Swap the rear to an A body 8 1/4" rear, or an 8 3/4. Some people even use Ford rears.

Again, there are TONS of discussion threads on this forum about this stuff, so just spend a few days reading and you will learn a lot.

Good luck!
