Ok, the front brake hoses on an '81 D150 pickup are attached to the calipers with a banjo bolt through a block fitting and this block can be fitted with the hose pipe facing down (as pictured) or with the fitting rotated 90º and the pipe facing inward. I replaced the pass. side a few months ago with the pipe facing downward as pictured and I assume I just put it back on the way it came off (but now, not sure).

I am now doing the driver's side and before taking it off, I find the fitting attached with the pipe facing inward. Now I am wondering if a PO got one side put on wrong in the past, or if I spaced it and put the pass. side on wrong? I tried looking in a Haynes, but it didn't have any photo's showing the fitting.

Can anyone shed any light?
