Car Model: D150
Excellent condition "D100 Custom" model with upgraded D150 option. 1/2 ton pickup. 4-speed manual. Clean, clean, clean. Solid, straight, runs smooth and starts right up.
VIN decoded:
Country of origin: US
Manufacturer: Dodge
Model Year: 1984
Assembly Plant: Saltillo
225 slant-six
CARFAX available and more pics available on request.
More info:
Regular cab 1984 Dodge D100 Custom with the 150 upgrade so it is originally titled as a D150, 1/2-Ton Short Bed Pickup Truck equipped from the factory with the indestructable 225 cubic inch slant six engine and 4-speed manual transmission. From top to bottom this Ram is a solid body and frame 99% rust free survivor from its original factory paint and drive train down to its dog dish/poverty hubcaps and the original owner's manual in the glove box. Even the exhaust system which is in very good condition appears to be the factory (all welded) system. The 5-digit odometer is currently at 72000 but is exempt in NY from odometer regs. I am the third owner. Non-factory alterations include the diamond plate in the bed and box. This truck starts runs drives and stops very well with no smoke leaks rattles squeaks or other noises and is a real pleasure to drive. Overall the exterior of the truck is in amazing condition considering its age of 38 years. With the proper care and maintenance which it deserves this truck should provide many more miles of enjoyable driving and is being sold "as is - where is" with no warranty expressed or implied. Thanks.

I know, right? Well, it turns out that the origin is where it was sold and was distinguished between Canada and the US. On the other hand, these trucks were manufactured in Saltillo and Auburn. So that is the reason why the origin is US while manufacture can be either US or Mexico.

Which 4 speed? "Granny first gear" or "over drive 4 gear"?
What price, what location? New York is a large state.

Hi, 4th also feels like over drive. Here is what someone else said on another forum: From 1975 until 1987 the Overdrive four speed was installed in slant six applications of A-bodies, F-bodies, and light trucks (D100 & D200 series trucks). These applications were not ultra rare.
1975 thru 1987 Overdrive 3.09:1 - 1.67:1 - 1:1 - 0.73:1 (Trucks used a 0.71:1 fourth)

Here is another source: https://www.slantsix.org/articles/4-spe ... speed1.htm

I'm on Long Island, but I can deliver the truck anywhere within 300 miles once purchased. Also, asking is $19k or best offer. The price is negotiable. If you want more pics, please let me know. Also, if you have any tips that might help me sell my truck, send them along. Thanks!

Sorry, didn't notice the price in the header. That pricing puts it way out of my range. Good luck with the sale.
